The beginning of Spring 2010 proved to be very fruitful for announcements of music competitions around the world. 42 (!) competitions have been announced during the last month. Most of them scheduled for the end of 2010 and 2011. However, some are coming up this summer. So, make sure you check our calendar for your instrument again.

Bakitone International is proud to announce that in collaboration with the government of Papua New Guinea we made a unique discovery today, which will turn the classical music world around and will bring new joy to an audience of millions of music lovers in major and minor concert halls of the planet. The trombone version of the Piano Concerto No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninov has finally been discovered!

During the last intense 40 minutes, most of the recording labels contacted us and agreed to provide their best conductors and orchestras for recording of this masterpiece. Celebration CD is scheduled to be released for the Christmas season as a gift to audiophiles and their families around the globe.
